A small portion of Margaret River Shiraz was harvested to be fermented and distilled to make our x17 Gin. This gin was then used to soak Shiraz from the same vineyard for 3 months. After this time period, the shiraz spent 4 months in French Oak Barriques, before a small portion was bottled for our first release of the 2024 Shira Gin.
23% alcohol, and a nice sweet finish, this Shiraz Gin is more like a Vintage Port. Delicious to sip, or use in a Negroni.
